Nominations for Service Above Self Awards Open

The Rotary Club of Stafford is proud to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Rotary Service Above Self Award, to be presented at our annual Rotary Means Community event on April 16, 2026, 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, at the Johnston Memorial Hospital Community Room.

The event presents awards to honor businesses, individuals, groups, or organizations that exemplify the spirit of Service Above Self by making a lasting, positive impact on the Stafford community through volunteerism, community projects, or philanthropy. The recipients of awards do not have to have any affiliation with the Rotary Club of Stafford. Last year's winners included the following below. 

• 2025 Group/Organization Award: Stafford Garden Club – for their dedication to beautifying our town and fostering environmental stewardship.

• 2025 Business Award:  TTM Technologies – for their commitment to corporate volunteerism and continuous support of local initiatives.

• 2025 Individual Award:  Amber Wakley – for her outstanding contributions to community engagement and service in Stafford.

  
  

We know that many of our community partners play a vital role in shaping Stafford’s community spirit, through sponsorships, charitable giving, or employee volunteerism, and we’d love your help in identifying those who make a difference.

Please consider nominating a member, coach, individual, group/organization, or business for their community contributions, whose service inspires others and makes Stafford a wonderful community.

The selected recipient will be honored publicly at the Rotary Means Community Event on April 16, 2026, a celebration of those who make Stafford stronger through service, generosity, and leadership.  Should you or any members of your group/organization like to attend the event, we ask that they submit the following form link to RSVP.
