Happy Spring!
The Rotary Club recently sponsored a "Rotary Means Business: Manufacturing in Stafford" event at Willington Nameplate. The highlight of the event was the guest speaker, Paul Lavoie, Chief Manufacturing Officer for the State of Connecticut, who engaged the audience with his insight into current and future manufacturing dynamics in Connecticut. Mr. Lavoie also shared opportunities to support small manufacturers in the community.
Participants enjoyed light refreshments and local beverages from Stafford Cidery and Off The Rails Brewery. The Rotary Club delights in providing opportunities for collaboration and networking, and this event certainly had both!
