Since LuAnn’s Bakery & Cafe opened in Stafford last August, the rest of Main Street’s shop owners have noticed a spike in business. People coming to LuAnn’s for a cup of coffee or their favorite sweet treat take the time to walk through town and explore the rest of what the town has to offer. But as many of us have learned by now (the hard way, in my case), LuAnn’s is not open on Sundays. So, if you’re looking to grab a hot beverage on Sunday morning, you’re out of luck... until now.

With this in mind, some of the shop owners went to the Town and asked if they could invite a coffee truck to set up shop on Sundays. The Town said (and I'm paraphrasing here), “Go for it.” Since then, Jodi Harmon, co-owner of the Stafford Cidery, has been working to nail down a coffee vendor for Sundays – and on November 9, 2025, Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee of Manchester will be coming to Main Street in Stafford. You can expect to see the truck making its weekly stop here for the foreseeable future, parked between LuAnn's and Ice Cream Depot.

From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., you can head downtown to get yourself anything from a cup of joe to a chai latte (which I appreciate as a non-coffee drinker) to specialty seasonal beverages. And if you’re in the market for breakfast, just drive west on Route 190 for a few minutes and make a stop at the That Place food truck for a delicious egg sandwich. If you like butter, and I do, you will not be disappointed. The home fries are also tasty, but be sure to arrive early, before they switch to making baked potatoes instead of home fries.
